VJSA is pleased to offer the following emergency medical training.
First Aid – 3 hours
CPR and Automated External Defibrillators (AED) – 3 hours
Program Objectives:
Preparing individuals and organizations with skills to help recognize and treat sick and injured persons through first-aid training
Providing CPR training which will enable our clients to perform potentially life-saving procedures for family, friends and co-workers who are suffering a cardiac event
Teaching the effective use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED), which are commonly found today in many public buildings and workplaces
Educating our clients about the most common causes of serious illness and death in our country and increasing awareness to promote recognition of life-threatening signs and symptoms
Courses are customized to accommodate needs and scheduling requirements of clients. Instructors are certified by the American Heart Association and AHA certificates are awarded upon completion of course. If your group would like to host a class, we travel statewide. (Classes range from $25 - $35 with group discounts available)
